Yountville Restaurant Spotlight: Lucy Restaurant at the Bardessono Hotel Hosts Wine Country Blogger Brunch

A couple months ago I was added to a little group of gals on Instagram, all local bloggers from the Wine Country. The goal of our group was to connect with each other and empower each others individual blogging endeavors by combining forces - thanks Miss Katie Crenshaw for being the driving force behind setting up the group!! I can definitely say since meeting and becoming aware of each other, there is this sense of community I had not yet felt in the blogging world, and it is definitely been the light to my fire for the last month! Blogging is a lot of work, its fun, but its work and knowing that there are people out there who understand exactly the time and efforts put in, well that's priceless!! I am very thankful to the town of Yountville for providing a lovely backdrop to a perfect day !

All photography for the Bardessono portion of our brunch was specifically shot by Devin Cruz Photography, she a local gal from St. Helena who is based out of NYC. She is a lifestyle photographer and total sweetheart! There are a couple shots from our tasting portion at Silver Trident Winery shot by Lindsey Tatum Photography, which have her listed underneath! Lindsey is based out of Sonoma County, specializes in lifestyle, family, children and maternity photography, so we had a true perfect mix of talents to help capture our day!!

The Food

We were invited to experience a day in Yountville, starting with Brunch at Lucy Restaurant at the Bardessono Hotel. The Bardessono Hotel and Spa is located in the heart of Yountville within walking distance to all of the best restaurants and wineries. They are the first Platinum LEED (Leadership Energy and Environmental Design) certified hotel in the area, priding themselves on their sustainability and eco friendly efforts. They used salvaged wood in the building of the property, non toxic materials for all construction, organic linens for all rooms, in addition to many other initiatives, including their private garden which Chef Nate Lindsay personally tends to and forages from for all of the dishes he makes! I work in Yountville, so clearly I am familiar with Bardessono, but I had never toured the property and we were treated to a tour that day. I realized the full range of what guests experience and it gave me serious hotel envy, this place is a spa through and through, each room appointed its own luxurious state of the art spa like toilet to start (they also have these available to non guests visiting the restaurant or bar - get your spa on during your next happy hour!)..they offer in room massage only and the entire property reminded me of a japanese tea garden nestled into the middle of busy Yountville, it truly is a retreat!

Brunch is a collection of your classics like Egg's Benedict, Banana Foster's French Toast and Bagels & Lox, however thrown in the mix are some really interesting additions! Shrimp & Grits a southern tradition is given a Napa Valley flare by adding local Fiscalini cheddar and locally sourced coastal rock shrimp! They also offer a killer rendition of Chilaquiles, a Croque Madame and Sonoma Duck Confit wipe the drool off your mouth lol!

The Bar Lounge is a favorite spot for afterwork cocktails/Happy Hour and if you weren't aware, they are UBER dog friendly. Bring your well behaved pup and sit outside, they provide a complete dog focused menu. They offer their Happy Hour Menu Monday - Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. with Draft Beers at $5, Glasses of Wine $8-10 and their appetizers all range from $4 - $6....make sure to take advantage of this great local deal!!

We were gifted these precious Bouchon Bakery Macaroons via Bouchon Bakery in know that place that always has a line out the door, yea that place! YUM! Thank you Bouchon for sponsoring a part of our swag bags!

Now for the most important part, what did I wear?? The team from Sisters Boutique in Yountville personally styled me for the day! The skirt I am wearing is a brand called Patrons of Peace, the tank is Charlie and the necklace is a layered rose gold, loved it so much I bought all of the pieces! The skirt was so popular it sold out in a week and they have since restocked it in stores! Make sure to pop over to them to check it out and their latest styles!

If you needed an excuse to visit the Bardessono Hotel and Lucy Restaurant, here you go! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did, I know I'll be back often, especially for those Happy Hour specials!!

Thank you Bardessono Hotel and Lucy Restauarant for Sponsoring this post !
