Domaine Chandon

Domaine Chandon is located in Yountville near Cornerstone and Silver Trident (hint: make a day of it and hit all the Yountville spots and a restaurant for lunch). They specialize in Sparkling Wines and Pinot Noir! You can visit for a quick trip or lounge in the adirondack chairs on the knoll, looking over the valley! If your hungry they offer all types of snacks: truffled popcorn, smoked salmon, caviar, oysters, french fries.....champagne. Need I say more?

Honig Vineyard and Winery

I have been drinking Honig Sauvignon Blanc since I was old enough to do so, it's always been amazing and the hospitality offered at Honig is simply the best! They specialize in Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and when the season is right, they do a delicious Rose! They have a Reserve VIP room where you can taste through their select vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons and also picnic tables where you can enjoy lunch after your tasting!

Long Meadow Ranch and Farmstead

Located in St. Helena near the famous Gott's Roadside Diner, Long Meadow Ranch Winery is a gorgeous tasting room next door to its sister restaurant Farmstead. You can bring your pup to either location to wine taste or to a grab a bite at Farmstead - if you didn't know, they have the BEST happy hour in the Valley!

Merryvale Vineyards

Lucky for most of my readers, this is a place that does not require an appointment on this list and is also just off of Hwy 29! They are right across the street from famed Taylors Refresher/Gotts Roadside Diner too! Visit Merryvale and then call in your Gotts order for pick up and skip the crazy lines (insider tip)! Gotts is also dog friendly!  Merryvale makes almost every varietal you can think of when thinking about Napa: Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot etc....Definitelt worth a visit!

Reverie Winery

Reverie winery is near and dear to my heart. My husband has worked at Reverie for 12 years and my pup that you see in all my photos @carmelitathesenorita is the winery dog for Reverie! AKA...if you go to Reverie for a tasting, you will most likely get to meet our little superstar! Don't let the connection fool you though, I wouldn't let my husband work somewhere with mediocre wine - then I would have to drink that! Reverie is located off crystal springs road in St. Helena (they have moved to this location from their original winery location on diamond mountain road) and have been making amazing Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera and Malbec... they are open 7 days a week and only take a few appointments each day, so book early!

Silver Trident Winery

Obviously I am a bit biased about this spot, since its MY workplace. ;) To me if you want to feel at home in Napa, Silver Trident is the spot to go! We are a Ralph Lauren Home Decor showroom and winery, we make gorgeous Rose of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Everyone who visits us receives a Food Pairing that was designed by local Chef Sarah Scott (The Wild Table) and is truly a perfect pairing! If you want to visit, contact me directly at mallory@silvertridentwinery.com

Tres Sabores

Owned by Julie Johnson one of the fiercest ladies in the valley, and Winemaker extraordinaire. They have 3 - 4 dogs on property at all times, so hopefully your pup is friendly and loves face licking golden retrievers ;) I fell in love with TB last year on a visit to their Vineyard. The area that you taste in is set in between 100 year old Olive trees and vineyards! It's majestic to say the least and I HIGHLY recommend putting it at the top of your list - mine is in alphabetically order !
